Roxens FVOF

The Roxen’s Fishery Conservation Area Association (FVOF) was formed in 1991 and is an association of the lake’s more than 200 fishing rights owners. The association manages the fishing in the Roxen fishing area (FVO) in the parishes of Kaga, Lillkyrka, Rystad, Stjärnorp, Vreta Kloster, Östra harg, Östra Skrukeby and Linköping’s register area in Linköping municipality and the parishes Kimstad, Vånga and Skärkind in Norrköping’s county area and municipality,

The fishery area (FVO) includes the entire lake Roxen including a part of Motala Ström’s inflow up to 200 meters downstream of the Nykvarn water power plant and to Kimstad’s regulatory pond in Motala Ström’s outflow. Other inland watercourses in the lake are not included in the association. The purpose of the association is to coordinate fishing activities and fisheries management and to promote the common interests of fishers. Furthermore, Roxens FVOF provides fishing with hand tools to the general public through the sale of fishing licenses.
